Pzizz is a napping software that helps you increase your energy and performance with a simple 20 minute nap. I have been using Pzizz it for the last week and it has been quite effective. Before using this software I have been using a simple kitchen timer or my watch to wake me up from my naps. The problem I have when using those devices is that is I wake up abruptly or feeling drowsy. Sometimes I go back to sleep because I feel so drowsy which kind of defeats the purpose of a power nap.

Using the Pzizz software I just load a bunch of nap selections on to my MP3 player. Then when I’m ready for my power nap I just hit play and put on my headphones. So far I have been waking up feeling refreshed and have not overslept. I don’t even have to set an alarm, it wakes be up very peacefully unlike my kitchen timer or watch. The default time for the Pzizz power nap is 20 minutes but you can set it to shorter or longer to meet your needs. I find a 25 minute nap work great for me.
How the heck does it work?
Pzizz is unlike any other napping software or music because it uses a complex random selection which is not possible with CDs or other static audio devices. Every time you create a new pzizz nap selection you will be listening to something different so you will not hear the same thing twice. This random selection causes the subconscious to stay active because it does not get used to the track like CDs or tapes. By staying active you able to match you different brain wave patterns to the track more effectively, which give you a very efficient and restful nap.

Power Up with a Power Napping
If you always wanted to take a power nap and have had difficulty oversleeping or just falling asleep this is the product for you. Pzizz offers software for Window and Mac. They even have a hardware based device so you don’t even need a computer to use it. I think college students would love this program since most of them are sleep deprived especially around mid-terms or finals. Also anybody that want to try out polyphasic sleep could benefit using this.
Many people can’t take a mid day nap because of their work schedule but this can still be used on the weekends or when you travel. When you travel you are usually short on time and energy so taking a power nap would give you that extra boost to get you through the day.
Don’t have time to nap?
If you feel like you don’t have time to nap because of work you could still take a nap at your desk. Although this is not ideal, you can take a nap on you desk by just resting your head on you arms. Just use headphones instead of speakers to block out any outside noise. It will take some time to get used to and is better suited for shorter naps. I have done this before in my home office but recommend lying down if you can. I have even read of some people that simple go back to their car during lunch break and take a nap in their reclined car seat.
