Get 25 GB of Free Online Storage

Get 25 GB of free online storage from AMD Live and Streamload.com.  There have been many new online storage site popping up but Streamload.com caught my eye as it is giving away 25 GB of free online storage.

Most sites only give 2-5 GB of free storage.  Having 25 GB of online storage mean you can store more media files such as pictures, music and videos.  If you value your data and media files then you really should have some sort of backup plan.   Having a free online backup makes it cheap and easy.

  1. There are much better online storage and backup services than the one you have mentioned above. One among them is IBackup, a truly first-class and inexpensive service. You can do quick and safe backups of files and folders with their application IBackup for Windows. IBackup has several subscription plans that suit a wide variety of users.

Another great feature about IBackup for Windows is that you can try all their features during the free trial itself. Account cancellation is very easy with IBackup. IBackup has a slick and user-friendly interface with which you can do incremental and compressed backups. This will also greatly reduce your network bandwidth by transferring only portions of file that were modified or changed. You can easily restore files and folders backed up from the SnapshotsIDrive you can map your online IBackup account as a network drive on your computer. You can then drag and drop files to the IBackup account from the Windows explorer.

It also allows you to open and save files stored in their IBackup online backup/ storage accounts directly from their associated applications like Microsoft Office. For added security, you can use IBackup Professional. Here encryption is based on a user-defined key so that the data stored on IBackup Professional servers cannot be decrypted by anybody other than you. You can also restore up to 30 prior versions of files backed up, including the most recent version of the data files.

The backed up files are stored by default in the encrypted form using AES 256-bit encryption. Manage your multimedia files with IDrive Multimedia . On double-clicking on a multimedia file, it will open up your media player and starts playing instantaneously. You can even create ‘playlists’ or do ’shuffle’ using your favorite media player pointing to IDrive’s media files. The cool thing about IBackup is that all these features can be tested, if you try their free trial. If you like this service, it’s easy to upgrade your trial account to a regular IBackup account without any hassles.

  2. Thanks Jim, I will take a look at iBackup. iBackup looks like a great service as well. I myself think a lot of user will benefit from the large amount of free storage that streamload provides especially for media files.

Anyone else can make recommendations for the best online storage service?
