If your still paying when you dial 411 then you need to add this phone number to your cell phone: 1-800-FREE-411. Usually companies will charge you up to $1.25 just for using 411 to find a phone number. With 1-800-FREE-411 you don’t pay a dime. How is it free? Well there is a 15 second ad before you get an operator, that’s it.
Time to throw away that phone book in your car. Awesome service.

This service is terrible! It uses voice recognition that is as useful as a blind lipreader. By the way, the Google 411 is only for businesses. Try one of the pay per month 411 services which is cheaper than using 411 if you use 411 4 or 5 times per month or more and gives access to an operator if you need it. I’m gonna search for one on Google now…

Thanks for the tip! We are always using 411 on the road and end up paying close to $10 extra a month on our bill. Grrr! Wish I had known about this sooner…lol.
