Amazon.com has a promotion which allows you save 15% off your order and free shipping when you sign up for a subscription ordering service. This is for certain grocery and personal products. The idea is that products that you use very often like laundry detergent, coffee, or baby care will automatically be ordered and shipped to you for your convenience and at a discounted price.
Amazon’s "Set it and Forget it" Ordering.
This is a very interesting promotion by Amazon.com. Drugstore.com offers a similar type of ordering system. While this is not for everyone I can see how more and more people may take advantage of subscription ordering online for these types of products. It can be a real time saver and Amazon.com carries many products local grocery stores do not carry like organic foods, ethnic foods and salon products.
