I recently posted a deal on Google Checkout’s $10 bonus but it looks like their direct competitor PayPal is striking back with their own promotion. You can save at many online merchants when you use PalPal when you checkout. Again, these discounts should be stackable on top of the merchants coupons or discounts. I don’t know when these discounts expire please check with the website.
Looks like the competition is getting pretty heated between these two Giants. The stakes are very high as the winner will probably be able to control and monetize the multi billion dollar online processing business. This is a great example of how competition trims margins and the consumer wins. Lets hope Google ups the ante and 1ups Paypal again. Personally I think Google Checkout will leverage their sister products like Adwords and Adsense and come out on top.

Do you know what exactly the discount is?

The discount is different per merchant. You can check out the different discounts by going to the PayPal promotion page. I think PayPal will be aggressively striking deals with more and more online merchants.
