Life is Good

Where Will You Go?

Now all you have to do is figure out where you want to go and start accumulating those vacation days.   Don’t forget to get a passport if you plan on traveling soon as they can take a while to process.

I’m planning my first trip to Japan next year and it will probably cost close to five thousand dollars.  It is a two week tour with pretty much everything included (food, travel, hotel).  I was thinking with that five grand I could travel around the world instead.  The around the world trip will have to wait because I have wanted to visit Japan for a long time now.

To all you international travelers, where is your favorite international destination and why?

Hi Dean. On your Travel Around the World for Cheap feature
we noticed that for hostel information you recommend Hostels.com.
Hostels.com used to be a good site for information about hostels, but
it was bought out by an online booking company (HostelWorld) and now
it just directs people to the HostelWorld reservation system — they
list less than half of the existing hostels worldwide, and they no
longer provide contact information for most hostels unless you make a
    reservation through them.

But there is an alternative site with a lot more hostel information.
Hostelz.com is a free guide that lists information about all hostels
worldwide. It’s the most complete online database of hostel
information, both in terms of the contact information for the hostels
and the number of hostels covered. It also provides reviews from
people who have stayed in the hostels.
