We all want to save the world but some of the things can really be a hassle or expense.  While I don’t own a hybrid vehicle or car pool I decided to save the world one flush at a time.  This video detail how easy it is to do your part and save the world while up to 15% off your water bill.

Ok, I tried it out on my toilet and it works.  I have an older toilet bowl so I think it already had an excessive amount of water for each fill up.  Newer toilets use less water than older toilets due to environmental standards.  I simply filled up an empty plastic coke bottle and put it in my toilet tank.  I have heard of people using a brick for the same effect.  My first thoughts was that it wouldn’t flush properly but it flushes fine.  It really only takes about 5 minutes to do, plus you can save up to 15% off your water bill.  If not for the Earth for your pocket book.
