Nathan’s Famous 1916 Prices
Who can eat just one? Buy two Nathan’s hot dogs, and the second one will cost only 5 cents, which is the price they originally charged back in 1916, when Nathan’s was nothing more than a concession stand on Coney Island.
Mark writes:
I wish I could take advantage of this offer because Nathan’s Famous is my favorite hot dog. I always get a hot dog when I go to Las Vegas inside the MGM Grand Food Court. On my recent trip to New York, I had a Nathan’s corn dog at a Mets game.

Nathan’s Hot Dog Special
Nathan’s Famous is offering a free hot dog, when you buy one at regular price. Nathans first opened in 1916. They also served hot dog nuggets, chicken sandwiches, onion rings and krinkle cut fries. They serve Coca Cola as their official drink.
Nathan’s is one of the best hot dog brands out there, my other favorite being Hebrew National. I should tell you I grew up in New York and some of my family comes from Brooklyn, where Nathan’s originated. When I was little I would go to Coney Island. At that time, Nathan’s was nothing but a boardwalk hot dog stand. Of course, now it’s a big national company. But you can still find them on Coney Island. And the crowds are big on July 4th for their famous hot dog eating contest. Coney Island is true Americana.
