J.C. Penney is hoping shoppers with gift cards and holiday cash will salvage sales in the post-Christmas period.  So they’re planning what they call their "biggest After Christmas sale ever." J.C. Penney stores will open Dec. 26 at 5:30 a.m. – the earliest opening on the day after Christmas in company history. The company is offering more than one hundred "Doorbuster" offers – twice as many as in 2007.

The day after Christmas is expected to draw a lot of teen shoppers, especially, so J.C. Penney also will have a complete line of new spring clothing for juniors and young men available on the floor.
