Walgreens has a Health Info page on there website that gives great details about diabetes, high blood pressure, flu and many other subjects. You can get your flu shots at certain Walgreens that have a Take Care Clinic located inside. I don’t think I am gonna get a flu shot this year, because the last time I got the shot. I just happened to get sick and I don’t feel like staying home and not being able to do anything.

Free Take Care Health Visits
Take Care Clinics, located in various Walgreens locations throughout the country, have started the Take Care Recovery Plan. This Plan is open to present and future patients to receive free health care visits for patients and their families who have recently lost their jobs and are uninsured. Restrictions do apply. All qualifying information and forms are on the Take Care Clinic website or you can call 1-866-825-3227 and press 3 for more information.
My husband had a cold last fall and was unable to get in to his Dr. for a week. After another miserable day at work he stopped into a Take Care Clinic on his way home. He was diagnosed with an ear infection, had his prescription filled and 2 days later was back to his ol’ self again. He was impressed with the facility and the quality of his care. Living through a layoff is stressful enough, worrying about you and your families health is gut wrenching. Take Care Clinics are stepping up and giving back to give those who need one less worry.
